Hundreds of hours of research, experimenting, testing, and more testing later, we’re adding the most important element: you.

Slightly lower body temp, which Kala achieves with a top layer made mostly of air, can enhance sleep quality and improve metabolism.

Structural foam provides foundation and support, allowing the Kala mattress to rest on any surface: box spring, slatted base, or right on the floor.

Cushioning memory foam distributes body weight, relieving pressure points and decreasing restless sleep.

The customizable piece of Kala sleep, made from breathable AirString of variable density, lets you choose your sleeping surface for ultimate comfort.

In the US, we ship via UPS and FedEx Ground. All mattresses come shipped in a 16.75” X 16.75” X 44.75” box.

Certification

Our polyurethane foams (memory foam, transition foam, and poly support foam) are Certi-Pur certified, meaning they are made without ozone depleters, PBDE flame retardants, formaldehyde, phthalates, mercury, lead, and other heavy metals.

The federal government requires all mattresses sold in the US to meet very stringent burn tests, as governed by 16 CFR 1633 and 1632. Our mattresses have been tested in accordance with CFR 1633 and 1632, and have passed each test.
